Newsmag on the mobile

Hi All,
the main picture in the home page does not fit the size available.
If you open the website https://www.gioiarunning.it, you can see that the background image is not stretched correctly neither on the Phone Viewport, nor on the Portrait Viewport. It works on Desktop Viewport.

Is there any configuration I can use?
Thanks
Kind Regards,
Marco

Hi,

Please note that if you use the options from the CSS tab of the elements in the composer, like in this case a row, and you set padding, margins, width, height, etc. -> https://prnt.sc/lomiqkJ5cr3m these will apply on all devices. So it can result in having design problems on smaller screens.

Please adjust the values on these viewports -> https://prnt.sc/R4kAw904i1Ln You can set different values for them, the very least the width on mobile should be set to 100% and it will look better -> https://prnt.sc/pVMJgxSrv1Fk

Also I see there is a problem with the logo on mobile, I think it was set while the website was on a staging platform. Please remove it and set it again -> https://prnt.sc/RRJrj-Rqgyba

Let me know if I can help more.

Thank you!

Hello Simion,
thank you very much for your help.
I have fixed the logo and adjusted the background image. I have put 100% as width, it works for tablet but still it’s not perfect for mobile.
Further suggestions?
Thank you very much.

No problem.

So now on mobile I suggest reducing the padding top and bottom, so more of the sides of the image can be seen. Try setting 70px for both top padding and bottom padding -> https://prnt.sc/NG75HNB8-Qr5 And be sure to set the height to auto -> https://prnt.sc/pHuaMAG3Bua8 Then it should look much better.

I could also mention that there are other ways to display an image. Like the single background image element -> https://prnt.sc/-vnD62lw8iWM which is easier to customize.

Or by simply adding the image in a column text element -> https://prnt.sc/pgRqbgUmzs6Y

Either way, it if looks the way you want then it’s fine. Let me know if I can help more.

Thank you!

Thank you very much. Working with both padding value and “auto” height, it works much better.
It’s enough.
Thanks
