Not size proper

Seen here, I have the settings such that it should display as smaller font on mobile. This snipboard image is me editing the global template for posts.

However, when I look at it on my phone, it still reads with a bigger font, for both the title area (the words “why the sky is blue”) and the content text (instead of merely giving you the answer…)

Please use your mobile vertical phone to view https://factcheckedexplanations.com/why-is-the-sky-blue/
and you will see it doesn’t match the snipboard image (the snipboard image should be what really shows up on the phone, but the link above doesn’t match that)

Hi,

The font for the post content on mobile is 15px from what I see -> https://prnt.sc/aQBaqyiB2JuO On desktop it’s 18px.

The post title on mobile is 45px -> https://prnt.sc/R38xqcs-8HNt On desktop it’s 55px.

This means it’s working fine. There are font sizes set for mobile, which override the desktop font sizes. I don’t see a problem with it so far.

Let me know.

Thank you!

You are correct, all is well. It just took some time for it to take place. For example after the first 30 min it wasn’t in place. But I checked the following day and overnight the changes seemed to go into effect.

Could be caching, if you use a caching plugin. Or maybe the hosting provides caching from the server. It’s the most plausible explanation if changes you make are not displayed on the website. Although for admins the changes should be seen immediately.

Thank you!
