I already updated my theme several times and I still get this.

Did you tried to remove the old theme before updating the theme? You have this issue because the old elements files(icons files) are still from the version 4 of the theme. So please make sure that the old theme files are removed. You can also try to replace those files with files provided in the new package that you have downloaded from themeforest – http://screencast.com/t/efvmLsNHhD and also clear cache.

Try to remove these files – http://screencast.com/t/efvmLsNHhD and paste instead the new files from package that you have downloaded from themeforest(new version of the theme) and clear cache. Also please provide a link so we can take a look as I have checked your site but did not found social counter on any page.

although it seems to work for you, i still see the same errors of the social counter. I think the problem is from the W3 Total Cache because i’ve removed it and the social counter worked, and than i’ve reactivated and the error was present.
1. How can i deal with this because i’ve cleared the page cache…
2. The instagram line shows that i have no followers, why isn’t showing the real number?

Update: The Social counter finally works, but the number of instagram followers is still “0” and that is quite wrong.

i’ve changed the username 2 times, and also cleared the cache, deleted and reinstalled the plugin and still the instagram follower number is zero. The problem could be the “#” after the username? because when i hover over the instagram line, the link is “instagram.com/caandesign#” .
