Widgets error

Hello friends,

I am having problems working with widgets boxes in the new version of the Newspaper.

When I try to place a side widget box element on any page via Visual Composer, the following error appears in settings:

Warning: array_map (): Argument # 2 shouldnt be an array in /wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/editors/popups/class-vc-shortcode-edit-form.php on line 44

In the published page the widget does not appear in sidebar likely to be something related to this error.

What could it be?

Thanks in advance …

Hi,
Please make sure you have the latest version of The visual composer plugin. What element from VC doesn’t work for you? Please provide more details.

Thanks for the message!

Hello Marius,
Yes, my version of VC is latest, 4.5.3.

The error message appears when i try to put the Widgetised Sidebar element, through VC in the page. It appears just above the element settings. I’ve tried to publish anyway, but the element is empty on the published page.

I tried to use the same element disabling the Newspaper and the error disappeared.

I still could not test all the elements, but most others seem to work well without mistakes.

I hope you can help me solve this issue.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

We are aware for those warnings which still appear unfortunately in the latest version of the VC plugin included in the latest version of the theme but those happen from the Visual Composer plugin and should be fixed in the next version of the plugin which we will include in the next update.
Finally you shouldn’t worry about it as it’s just a warning and doesn’t cause any issues, from my tests the elements still work as they should.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks for the message!
