Menu appearing

Hi guys, after update i have an issue with my maion meni. its seem appearing in correctly, only on homepagew.. any ideas what could be tha cause

Hi,

Do you use child theme? If you do please switch to the main theme and check this.
If you don’t have this issue anymore please make sure that you update the also child theme to version 2.0.

hey, i have tried to swith the theme coz i am suing the child theme as you predicted. and yes it works.. how do i update childtheme without lose of code..

Hi,

You can try to backup your current child theme files, install the latest version provided with the theme files and see if you still have this issue, then add your customized files and see if it works. You will have to check the update log file and see what files were modified from the last version that you used. It is normal if a file was changed to have some issues if this is overwritten by child theme file.

Hello alin,
idid not manage to fix the appeareance of the menu, its actually noét menu its all the text, areas below the menu.. not sure how childtheme is linked to main theme. we did not change any styling or anything like that..

can you please help me…

Hi,

If it work find using the main theme then the child theme and the changes added there must cause this. You need to make sure that you backup the current child theme install, remove it and set it up again from the latest theme version full theme folder: http://screencast.com/t/hdqp3Q4JLhU then add your changes again but check the modified files log to see if there isn’t any mortification to the code you also customized because you could need to adjust your implementation: http://tagdiv.com/td_deploy/Newsmag/changed_files_1.7.1_2.0.html

hello Lucian, thank you for your help and quick response, all its fixed now, you can check that on http://www.electropiknik.cz if you like 🙂 it was caused by the order of css styles affecting composer etc.. however its all fine now. thanks again jan
