A quick question: on my website, on the front page, when I click the search icon the popup search field does not align correctly with the icon. How can I fix this?

Also, a different question: I had some memory of there being a post submission feature which is included with the newspaper theme. Does anybody know where I can find this feature (which allows users to submit their own posts), and enable it on my website?

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version 6.3 and also update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder. Also you can check this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. Let me know!
I’m not sure what you mean, the theme doesn’t have such of feature for users.

Ok, so I guess it was a plugin that caused this issue.
Another couple of quick questions:
1) I used the themeforest auto update feature, as shown in one of your posts here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-automatically-update-newspaper-theme/. Does that automatically update the included plugins that came with the theme?
2) The speedbooster plugin shows incompatibilities with several popular plugins, such as akismet, AMR shortcodes etc. Obviously spam prevention, shortcodes and website performance are both very important. Whilst it is unlikely (as incompatible does mean incompatible), will there be any possibility of this plugin being more compatible in the future?
3) On my website (www.studenthub.org.uk), the featured images do not fill up the tiled spaces, leaving blank grey spaces. Is there anyway to remove them, so the featured images scale to fit the gaps?

1. This will update only your theme to the latest version. You will have to delete the Visual Composer plugin – http://screencast.com/t/coHOReboyBp and install the new version – http://screencast.com/t/lR34ov0Gxn5D
2. The Speed Booster plugin is compatible only with plugins that it has been tested. A lot of people install the plugin without knowing what it does and after that they add many plugins and some of the plugins are not written fine so that’s the developer took this decision. If you want to always enable speed booster, delete this code from speed booster file: http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh
