Post view count

Hello,

It looks like the post view counts all reset to zero when I switched to newspaper theme.
Could you please let me know how to update the theme view count so that posts previous views can be used in the popularity ranking ?

Hi,

The theme uses it’s own post views system and since you haven’t used it before the views counter starts from 0. You can try to change theme’s post’s count meta with the one you’ve previously used here: http://screencast.com/t/Nwf9JS1zFOu if you don’t know how to do it we suggest you get a freelancer to do this for you because this need custom modifications and unfortunately we cannot provide any custom services at the moment. Could you please let me know where the count information is stored in the database and what ID it uses to attach the post ?
Do you think I could add the post count information from another table to newspaper one in order to merge the two at the same place ?
