Our hosts, WP Engine, are reporting that some scripts are slowing down the ability for the site to scale properly, and we’d like to resolve somehow before expanding use of the Newspaper theme to other sites on our Network
They report inefficiencies in:
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=6.1
being called from:
11:10 amin these files:
wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_js_generator.php
wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/wp-admin/panel/views/td_panel_translations.php

Ajax is used and called by the theme on blocks for the the ajax drop-down filter and pagination: http://screencast.com/t/XM6AHi5ot Besides these is also used for the view counter to get from the server the correct post view count: http://screencast.com/t/yb9MxcL3Ng
Try to disable these features if that use ajax then test this again.
