Huge amount of _vc_post_settings values in wp_postmeta

Hello,

for some reason, since switching to the Newspaper theme (which we love!) we’ve got a huge amount of rows in our wp_postmeta table for the meta_key column with value _vc_post_settings and meta_values of a:2:{s:7:"vc_grid";a:0:{}s:10:"vc_grid_id";a:0:{}}

I presume these are to do with the Visual Composer plugin? If so, why are there so many entries (10k+) when we have only started using the theme/plugin on our site a couple of days ago?

Could you let me know what they do and wether it is safe for us to delete them please.

Hi,

Seems like the visual composer add that record for each post and page that you have. You have 10k posts? I’ve deleted a registration for my homepage and the homepage works fine, if you want to delete them, you can make a database backup and delete them.
