Adding Floating Left Social Share Buttons

Have you ever considered instead of adding the share buttons at the bottom of posts to integrate or make an option to add the floating left side bar, for example: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-socializer/screenshots/ – I know I could easily download the plugin but I would imagine you could optimize it with the speed of the template with integrating it with your own code 🙂

@Marius, where is the old option of where I can place-enable/disable the social buttons, for example, on individual post?

@Marius, To be more specific, I am looking to add those common social buttons to ‘individual images’ from posts. They are already on individual posts by default. I remember seeing this options in the old theme panel but can’t find it in the new.
