How do I setup RSS feeds so they are visible on the home page and can be available by category of content? Thanks

Rss feeds are built into wordpress, and automatically made by category, by simply tuping /feed/ at end of any topic, tag, etc.
So you could use text box to make links to selected rss feeds.
