Hello Guys,
i ran into a problem with TagDiv slider gallery. Its not stretching the image to the full gallery space as show in the below snapshot.
Can you pls let me know how to fit the image so those all black spaces are filled with the image itself.

Hi,
The images used in the tagdiv gallery are not stretched or cropped like the featured images on modules. There is used the full image, it is just resized(but not enlarged) to fit into container. For example this is container size – http://screencast.com/t/nEO9LQ3tt0 and this is image size – http://screencast.com/t/hnMeyYxEMDN and a smaller image – http://screencast.com/t/CFz1ffkUpsGp You can check our demo to see this – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/
Please provide more details if this is not what you mean, also provide a link!
Hope this helps!

Exactly thats what i am looking for.
In the demo site, based on the picture size its either fit in the container for larger images or display as is size if its a smaller.
But in my case in the below link : http://ireadopedia.com/blog/fallout-4/
All the images that are uploaded are larger one’s. So i expect them to fit in the container.
When i do an inspect element, below are the snapshot that i see.
My Gallery Settings : http://goo.gl/e2xwCM
Inspect Element Snapshot : http://goo.gl/KbzMkJ
I dont know why it takes 373×420.png image, instead of the larger one which i specify in the gallery while creating it.
Hope you can tell whats the fix.
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure that you use the full image in the gallery and not a thumb, this is the full image size that you use – http://screencast.com/t/SOaL3YYfu
I have also checked this with your full image and did not found any issues – http://screencast.com/t/xSxALJ9LMJM – http://screencast.com/t/zumZ1RgN The image is resized to fit in the container(420px height). Also you can check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and create a new gallery then see if you still have this issue.
Thanks!
After deactivating all the plugins except Visual Composer did the trick.
But why should i de-activate all my plugins for every post to make a gallery?
Do you think regenerate thumbnail plugin is causing it take a small image instead of full images during create gallery process?
Hi,
If it worked only with Visual Composer active, I guess that a plugin that you use, conflicts with the theme and breaks the tagdiv gallery. You will have to find out which one it is, activating your plugins one by one. Maybe it is a gallery plugin if you use one?
Thanks!
Hi,
I’ve enabled Thumbnail Upscale on my side and i’ve made some tests, the TagDiv Gallery doesn’t seem to be affected by it. The images are displayed based on their aspect ratio, this means that wide images will occupy the full width of the gallery content area and the ones which have a different aspect ration will be not be displayed on the full width of the container. Here are some examples – http://screencast.com/t/APGRRA90q – http://screencast.com/t/LUSKmRhpIK – http://screencast.com/t/YqKVnMS4F
Thank you!
