Thank You for a wonderful theme. I had started creating my site with v4 and then upgraded to v6.
I’m creating http://www.e-doctor.in site. I’ve force generated thumbnails for all the images.
Please see the homepage slider and the News in Detail and Online Lectures blocks below it.
I need the images in the homepage slider and the blocks below to fit into the view.
Please help to fix this issue quickly.

I have checked your site and did not found any issues with the thumbnails they properly cropped – http://screencast.com/t/jIDXmPgNbN There’s no ideal image size, the modules have thumbs with different aspect ratio and a part of the image may get lost on the cropping process. You could read more about the featured image size here (it’s from Newsmag documentation but the principles are the same) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/image-size/ You have to do some tests and see what aspect ratio to use, depending what blocks/modules you use most.
Also if you want to change the crop mode(center-top) or add a different thumb size, you need to alter the code – http://screencast.com/t/7nlYBLgcfb also the thumb is used in the modules – http://screencast.com/t/U34sGuJ2gfX If you make any changes you will have to regenerate thumbs.

Thank You for your prompt response. I think I didn’t word my issue clearly.
Please help me to display the image as is without stretching in the homepage slider.

The IOS Slider has a specific css to enlarge the thumbnails to the specific size, so if your featured images are not large enough(like in your case) they will be stretched(this is something similar that Thumbnail Upscale plugin do) – http://screencast.com/t/tq9Glrg8 You should not have this issue if you use large images to fit there(large enough to be cropped, consider also image aspect ratio) – http://screencast.com/t/aKH40rDj6yw
