Hello, for some reason when I switch a post to the Video format, it will not display the featured image in any post template style I choose. You can see one example here:

When I switch back to regular format, the featured images show just fine. How do I make sure the featured images show no matter which format it is?

The video format was designed to display featured video in the post, and the featured image created will be displayed on modules. If you want to change that please make a backup of this file and then remove this code – http://screencast.com/t/Xr79XSco But I’m not sure what you are trying to do as removing this the featured video will not be displayed on post.

Nope, I take it back. It worked for the video post, but then all the featured images stopped showing up on other posts!
All I want is for the play icon to appear on the post thumbnails elsewhere on the blog and to embed videos into the post content. I don’t want the video to play as the featured image. I just want the play icon.
