Love the theme so far. Running into a few issues when posting a video in Video Post format.
1. I get this error consistently:

2. For some videos, I see the featured image properly and for other videos, I don’t see anything for the featured image. Seems like some videos retrieve it correctly and other videos don’t.

Ask host to allow fopen …
Is that going to open up security issues? We’ve been advised to not allow fopen. What are your thoughts?
Also, will that fix the second issue listed above?

How come some videos automatically show a featured image and other videos don’t?

We’re investigating this, if it’s an issue coming from the theme it will be fixed.
Wordpress uses fopen too and it shouldn’t be a security issue.
Please provide the url of the videos for which the featured image is not set by the theme, i will make some tests on my side.

I have tested your video urls and they work fine on my side, the featured image is properly set – http://screencast.com/t/D2tdaF4f
