Updating this theme will lose any customizations you have made

Hi there,

I’ve just installed the envato toolkit to manage the updates you guys release; I know it was asked once before (but not specific to my question):

What type of customisation is this warning message referring to?

I’ve made some changes in the ‘theme panel’ itself (some additional CSS, and also the various settings like favicon files, and header image) — but these are stored in the database (?) I’m pretty sure.
So would that mean that these ‘customisations’ (or, better put – personalisations) would remain the same if I did the automatic installer / updater?

Hi,

Yes, you don’t need to worry theme’s settings and/or any other panel customization, theme configuration will not be lost by updating the theme using the envato toolkit. Any changes that will be lost will be those made to theme files.
