Hello,
i am opening the same page with a CPT and taxonomy, and after update it seems to be different.
Single CPT tax – Before update (ver 6.3)

Single CPT tax – After update (ver 6.4)

This is a mistake?. I think, the correct design is in the version 6.3.
Wait your comments.
Thanks.
Hi,
I think you use different styles for this post, on the top image(6.3) it looks like style 1 and the bottom one(6.4) looks like the default post template.
Did you had any custom modifications to the code before the update? During the update the files are replaced and by this the custom code was lost.
Thanks!
Hi Alin, i have installed a clean wordpress, with clean Newspaper theme downloaded from themeforest.
Then, i imported the newspaper config and posts, etc. But the big image is still there.
Can you tell me is there is something to test?
Thanks!
Hi laarena,
Those post template are different, like I said above first image looks like style 1 and second like the default template. I don’t know what custom modifications did you have. Did you used a custom post template? Did you changed the default post template site wide? – http://screencast.com/t/UnvAPYC7CoI3
Please provide more details about this.
Thanks!
Hi Alin,
I’m using a child theme. But there are a few modifications.
These are my files:
Download Theme_child and plugin
All the files in theme folder don’t have relationship with the “custom post type” section. The CPT section “cinema” is created by the plugin zipped.
i checked all the the settings of the newspaper theme and i can’t find the problem.
If you want i can send you the export of my settings.
Thanks!.
Hi,
Normally you should have a template for your custom post. If you don’t have one the theme will load the default template, this template can be change from Theme Panel > Post Settings – http://screencast.com/t/WZPOmEARbtq
I have checked your child and I see no custom post template. To see how you can create one, please check the official documentation – https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Types#Custom_Post_Type_Templates
Thanks!
