On the home page, where there is player news, nhl news, editorials, I want there to be spacing between them similar to the Big grid above it.

Theme’s blocks were designed to work on 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3 columns, and to be displayed fine on 1/4 columns it needs additional customization which involve custom work. Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work services at the moment as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
