I really like that thumbnails are automatically generated when I do a featured video. But I have a couple of minor complaints.
First of which is that I end up with two copies of the thumbnail for the video in my media library. They’re both the same exact image. Not a huge deal, but would be nice to not have two copies in the media library and on the server taking up space.
Second: file names of the images. They download as “maxresdefault.jpg.” I know this is what YouTube’s file name is for the image. It’s just that I wish it would be named something more relevant to the post, especially since I use a featured video in 99% of my posts.
Again, both of these issues are minor. Just hoping that perhaps something could be done in the future. Maybe an option to skip downloading the video’s thumbnail, and I would upload my own.

I’m not sure why it creates 2 copies of the thumbnail when you add a featured video as I did not found this issue on my side.
