Hi
I want to use your child theme and have read your doc here

so basically I just use FTP to make a folder name “newspaper-child”, upload functions.php and style.css under your zip file/code/newspaper-child and then done?
do I need to activate it from anywhere at mydomain.com/wp-admin ?

Yes, you can upload the Newspaper-child from /code folder via ftp – http://screencast.com/t/pbwGuOp7 and set it from Appearance > Themes – http://screencast.com/t/JBh5ugbE98
