custom font

Hello

we add our own custom font like this

as it is a font that our visitors’ PC will always have, so font file is not needed
then we click save, then go to

We did not find it on drop out menu though

We also try to edit tyle.css , line 76, to become font-family: Microsoft JhengHei,sans-serif; but seems not affect “default font” on theme panel ‘s all drop out menu function. Our pages’ font does not change.

Hello AilyRoot,

Unfortunately it does not work without a file. Just by typing in a name, your font will not appear anywhere. Please upload a custom font file (.woff) to your server and then specify the path: http://screencast.com/t/vTqh8OYhQ

ok, so maybe how to manually change default font set?
could we edit style.css straight up and where?
we just need to change your default font set though

Hi,

You can do this only manually in style.css as the theme doesn’t have an option to set a general font.
Regarding the custom font try to create a folder like Fonts in public_html on your server, make sure you have permissions for that folder, then verify in page source if the font is loaded. Then you can add thr font name and paste the url where you uploaded the font and specify a name – http://screencast.com/t/bosHz93pa1li – http://screencast.com/t/rDbnlGghhXYt
