Number of Google Ads allowed

Hi,
Is there a restriction on how many google ads can be on a homepage? I have a header ad, then using visual composer I added under menu a billboard ad, left side bar a 300×250. Finally there is a footer ad. If I add an ad a section above the recent post section, then the footer ad won’t show.

Is this normal?

I believe you are allowed three image ads and three text link ads.

Thank you……this client is over the top on ads and I am trying desperately to make them understand. I have now implemented information that was on the information you suggested.

Adsense allow 3 banners display and 3 banner text link in every page of one website 🙂
