Hi,
We are seeing some odd issues with caching in our development website. Some people are seeing the new features images, while others are not.
In order to troubleshoot this problem we had everyone clear their cache in three browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari…no one uses IE so that was a non-issue).
We then deleted WP Super Cache contents…and turned off WP Super Cache.
After this was done some of us saw the new featured images while others did not on the home page.
Everyone in the test is on a Mac.
Any thoughts what else might be causing this problem? or what we might be able to do?
Our bigger concern is with repeat visitors to the website once this launches. We want to be sure the home page displays the same for everyone.
Thanks for your feedback.
Hi,
You could try a plugin like “WP Super Cache – Clear all cache” to make sure you clear caches completely: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache-clear-cache-menu/ From all browser’s also: https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic then test this again and check the cache plugin for options similar to this ‘Preload the post cache upon publish events.’ from W3TC: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/have-i-gone-crazy-with-the-amount-of-tools-for-speed-q/
Use this guide to setup wp super cache plugin: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-and-setup-wp-super-cache-for-beginners/
Hope this helps!
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks!

Hi Lucian,
We have pretty much done all the things you have said even before I posted the help request. Just to be sure we have followed through on your instructions…again.
What I’m wondering is if this has anything to do with the Retina segment of the website. Could the size of the images set as featured images have anything to do with our problem?
I’d like to send you a screenshot of what I’m seeing on the home page where either no images display or where the images should be is greyish image showing up instead. I can’t find a way to attach a screenshot to this reply. Not sure if that will help or not.
Thanks for your help.
Hello,
Let me continue to add something else we found on the Themeforest forums.
http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/newspaper-6-theme-not-showing-images-on-home-page/185155
Someone else had or has the exact same problem we are having with home page images not showing.
There has to be something inherent inside of this theme causing this trouble and I don’t think it is a caching issue.
Thanks for any help.
Hi mitechnews,
I believe I misunderstood you initially, I tooth you refer to page’s content, posts/articles which aren’t displaying in your tests.
The images aren’t appearing or could not appear due to theme’s lazy loading animation feature which if conflicting with one of your plugins js could cause the this so make sure you test this without plugins, empty all caches, leave just theme’s VC plugin active and test this again. Also make sure you disable any extra script loaders or minfyers tools which could also cause this.
If noting works please try to turn off the lazy loading animations from theme’s panel: http://screencast.com/t/2xkMQ2xscK
Let us know how it goes and provide your site’s url so we can inspect it if this issue persists.
Thanks for the message and sorry for misunderstanding you in the first place!
Hi,
Yes there is a resolution to this problem….turn off lazy loading animations. That fixed our problem.
We honestly don’t have time to figure out what javascript or plugin is interfering with this issue and just turned lazy lading off. The moment we did that it all worked across multiple computers and browsers.
Not sure what the value is of lazy loading, but it seems like it has the potential for more trouble than it is worth.
Hope this helps others.
Thanks! Sorry for the delay in reply @mitechnews. Your feedback post unfortunately went into my spam folder. We’ll try turning off Lazy Loading and see if that helps.

I suffer the same issue as many here, my thumbs at home and also in articles doesn’t load. So as a result i can’t see them at my HOME page.
site: desarrollotrazos.ucse.edu.ar
What should i do?
already disabled that option (lazy load) yet, nothing happened.
can’t see my new thumbs even tho i regenerate them.
Should i Upscale them with some plugin? or maybe tweak my wp-config (memory setup)? i mean… mine is 40 the theme recommend 64…should i put that amount or more?
