Very serious mistake!
My site went on to duplicate the pages and indeixou thousands of pages after I added the email!
I had put service @ tudoemtecnologia and then moved to commercial @ tudoemtecnologia I saw that did not work and switched to link the contact form.
But after looking at my webmaster’s report, I saw the damage! The topic simply generated thousands of pages, example:
http://www.tudoemtecnologia.com/lg-l70-vs-moto-g-dual-8-gb/comercial@tudoemtecnologia.com
They all point to 404!
The theme has a serious problem that automatically generated these pages!
Now, how do I fix?
Generally the MAIL field is where you put a link to an EMAIL account, not an email PAGE … as far as I know.
Is there a serious error on the subject, look at the pages it generated! I did nothing, just put the email there in that field and looks at the damage:

Now the email works. Clicking opens the Mail on Mac correctly.
The problem is duplicate pages it has already generated last time.

As google states, generally, 404 errors don’t impact your site’s ranking in Google, and you can safely ignore them or you can use 301 redirects to remove them from google webamaster: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2409439?hl=en

I too have experienced this error, my site has three new pages with what appears to be /email, /username, /twitter

Removing all the social media links/entities takes away the problem. This indeed seems like a mistake(?) that should ought to be resolved.

I just wanted to thank Thalisson for starting this thread and all of your individual contributions. I have been ruminating over this since roughly August 8th (in what I thought was my own private hell, lol) and this thread is an absolute lifesaver.
Lucian, I updated TD_Social_Icons.php with the code you provided via FTP. Is that all I need to do? Is there any way to confirm it is corrected other than publishing a new URL via the site and seeing if it gets a crawl error? It was adding my Instagram name onto the end of every url (For example, http://www.example.com/instagram_name), 500+ of them.
Also, I saw in your above post regarding 404 errors not having a huge impact on Google, but how can I fix all these broken links rather than going into EACH ONE ad redirecting? I don’t want to leave them broken.

Please make you add the full url to your socials, not only the instagram name – https://instagram.com/instagram_name
Also for mail erors you can try Emil solution, the code will be fixed in the next update.

Hi,
Webmaster Tools is notoriously slow at updating the links/errors page. In particular, even when a page is no longer linked to, Googlebot keeps requesting the page and reporting that it cannot be found. What I can say is that your ranking will not be affected like Lucian already stated above, as the 404 error is a normal error, so finding 404’s is normal and expected. I can only suggest to ignore them.
