Post Titles link to original external site

I am using wp-rss aggregator within my site – I want to be able to change the titles shown on my home page in sections and content blocks to link back to the original source site instead of the post that is generated by wordpress. So instead of the title link of the excerpt going to http://www.domain.info/postname I want it to go to the external site. ie. http://www.cnet.com/story

Hi,

The theme uses wp’s title function: http://screencast.com/t/JGbVbrjBV0s which can’t be changed using theme’s settings so to use a custom titles for your posts in theme’s modules/blocks you need to customize theme’s function: http://screencast.com/t/B8euMXkIm this requires customizing theme’s code and we’re not available for any customization services at the moment so I advise your to turn to a developer to help you do it. You can search for one on site’s like: http://studio.envato.com/

Thanks for the response:

Let me explain a bit better. The titles on the posts that are created link to the internal post on my site. I want to have them be the original url of the post. For example if you go to punchme.beerpoint.us – i used visual composer advanced grid without issues to create posts with read more that link to the original post on an external site.

When you look at the content blocks below that section and the main reason i bought this template – the posts go to the internal site post and not link to the external URL.

Hi,

I did understood you however unfortunately theme’s modules/blocks title can’t be set to link to other link besides their corresponding internal URL. As a solution for this you could try this implementation and adjust it to work with theme: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-link-to-external-links-from-the-post-title-in-wordpress/ or search for a plugin that can help you do this.

Hope this helps you!
