Sever Caching Issues

Our client is having caching issues ever since we installed this plugin for them. I had noticed issues at the time of installation but that was when I was making theme option changes (I couldn’t see the change unless I deleted the cache from the front-end and then again from the back-end and then sometimes not until I logged into another browser.)

Their initial enthusiasm for the theme is waning. Here are some of the issues they’re reporting:

1. Older content is NOT consistently replaced by new posts

2. Behavior varies significantly by browser

3. Cached images are impacted in significant ways. For example, images that
have been removed from a page continue to display, once sized images cannot
be resized ..

4. The “delete cache” produces erratic results. It is impossible for admins
to know if a page his displaying new content or not – short of logging in to a
different system.

We have WP-Super Cache with the default settings set per your recommendations. Is there anything else we can check, modify or ask our server host to adjust to help improve this situation? We’re not having this issue with any other theme.

Thanks!
Paula

Hi

We tested the WP-Super Cache plugin with the theme and worked fine on our side. Please try to clear all caches, browser cache too, deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and test again. If the problem persist you could try a different cache plugin like ZenCache and see how it works.

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks!

Okay, I’ll talk to my team about trying Zencache.

Thanks,
