I can’t find an option to have multiple filters for posts. Specifically I would like to use a Post Grid or a Post Masonry Grid on a page and then have the user filter by categories and also by tags. Or if possible filtered by 3 different sets of categories as well as tags (so 4 dropdown choices). Is this possible? Is there a plugin that can do this and works well with the Newsmag theme like for example the search filter pro (http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/)?
We’d like to use this to show different projects as well as different resources (documents, publications etc).

The post grid and masonry grid are built blocks from Visual Composer and the theme doesn’t change their functionality. Adding a new filter for this blocks is not an easy task so this can be done with lots of customization in plugin’s files, but you would have to look for a developer from sites like http://studio.envato.com/ as we’re not available for any customization services at the moment. Also you can try a plugin with a similar functionality but we didn’t test any of those plugins so I can’t make any recommendation in this regard, but you can try and use the one that suits you best.
