I don’t know about you people but I do think we are missing a sticky post with tips & tricks. If you think this is useful, please keep on commenting with more tips and tricks!
I’ll go first!
I had a problem with the visitors of my site. They used to visit the site with their smartphones which created a huge problem: they opened the site once and never closed the browser, therefore the site never got updated. Many people got frustrated with the site didn’t have any fresh news for over a week – we post news every hour. I solved the issue by installing this plugin:
* https://wordpress.org/plugins/auto-refresh-single-page/
Now the pages are forced to reload after every hour, no one complains again 🙂
