How to revert default post URL from breadcrumbs structure in Google SERP

Hi,
Can anyone please help me to revert the default URL for blog posts pages? I don’t want to show breadcrumb structure in Google SERP.

Google does that automatically — it’s good for SEO and for folks trying to navigate your website, which is why they do that.

Only way to 100% stop that is
remove breadcrumbs from your pages. Period. Full stop.

Note – even if you remove the meta data for breadcrumbs, Google can still use them in SERPS.

Google may have a method to mark that up as “ignore” if you look in their docs on how presentation of your site is done – perhaps in your webmaster tools (console) account, but I don’t recall seeing that.

We’ve had breadcrumbs on our main site for 15 years — and only added the meta data to the crumbs in 2014.

I am not that much good in coding, can you please tell particularly which lines I should remove?
As I can see there is a If Else loop in the screenshot.

simply dsiable the breadcrumbs feature in the theme to remove the breadcrumbs. Even if you remove the structured markup in the theme code, they will still be used by Google in SERPS in many cases as they have already built a breadcrumb element for your site. Some of our sites with breadcrumbs, but no “markup’ still show/showed up in SERPS with breadcrumbs, even without any modern markup.

Point being — only way to force Google to try not using breadcrumbs, is not to have breadcrumbs on your site. Try it. Then update your sitemaps. Then revisit your SERPS in a week and see if they change.

Well I would like to gi with Chris. I have disabled the option fully.
So right now there is no breadcrumb.

Can you please confirm me, is it okay now. Will it help to remove the structured data from SERP ?

As Chris pointed above the best way to not have breadcrumbs in google SERP it’s to remove them from your site. It could take a while until google will check your site again and will update it in its SERP such that the breadcrumbs to be removed.
