long author links

Hi guys,

When I view my site in google webmaster tools i have many crawl errors of not found for links like this:
http://conservative50.com/author/newseditor/107201558045867672614

Says it is linked from this: http://conservative50.com/author/newseditor/

Just don’t get it, has anyone else seen this issue?

Is there something I need to do in the template to stop this?

If you had originally installed the demo pages/content that might be leftover from that.

You could mark all the errors as fixed in your search console and see if they re-occur. Might have been caching issue, or CDN issue, or some plugin creating ghost pages.

I did that too and they keep coming back. I contacted Yoast to see if it connected to them.
