For the desktop version of my website I need to disable the responsiveness of the theme. Some themes that I have used offer an option in the admin panel to disable it but this theme does not seem to have that option.
Could you explain what it is that I need to edit / remove in order to completely disable this? I imagine there is a lot of code that will need to be edited which I am okay with doing, I just have no idea what files / code to edit.

Unfortunately there is no option in the theme panel to disable responsiveness. Almost all users want responsiveness. However, if this is what you want, you will need to edit the core files to achieve this. You will have to edit Style.css and remove all the media equerries.
