Hello,
If the blog page is what you are referring to, you can set it to a static page like so: http://screencast.com/t/L0wAJX1oNub You can edit that page to display a block and filter it to show latest posts or simply select the page template that contains the latest article: http://screencast.com/t/QmSjPjLBnNrl
If this is not what you mean, please provide more details so i can understand your request better.
