Minimum articles number for the slider to work?

I wrote this message but post was solved , I’m afraid it is therefore ignored I prefer to open a new ticket.

I do not understand exactly how the slider works. Is there a minimum articles number for the slider to work?

My page settings
– 1 slider with the “A” category + “FEATURED”
– 1 bloc2 with the latests posts form “A” category
– Unique articles: Enabled

I have just 2 posts in the ctaegory “A”
-2 posts in category “A”, all is fine: no slider, 2 articles in bloc2
-2 posts in categories “A” AND “FEATURED”, all is fine: 2 articles in the slider and nothing in the bloc2
– BUT 1 post in category “A” and 1 post in category “A” PLUS “FEATURED” and this is the bug (for me): nothing in the slider and 2 articles in the bloc2

This is not the result I think is logical. I expected 1 article in slider and an other in the bloc2.

My problem was with the little slider. But the solution it’s perhaps similar?

Yes I have tried Marius solution and it works but this is not the result I expect. For the first few weeks of activity of my website, the lack of content will be a problem. I can not create articles for the sole purpose that the site works …
