What's the VC css used for?

Hi there,

I followed Chris’ custom optimization and noticed he removed the VC css on single templates.

I decided to try and apply it site wide and so far seems even the home page loads properly. And I’m sure I used VC to build the home page as well as the category pages.

So what gives… Is the VC’s CSS only used for admin purposes?

VC css refers only at the elements built in the plugin, for example tabs, buttons etc. All elements added by the theme, like blocks and grids have theirs css in main css file of the theme, that’s why the layout isn’t affected. If you remove the css from pages some issues may appear if you decide to use any of VC built in elements.
