Is it possible to make a public roadmap, so everybody can see what are you planning and which community suggestions will be implemented? Or maybe a voting option for that suggestions?
Several users (me too) made good suggestions, but for me I don’t remember if you are planning this to implement them in a future version.
In my private to-do-list are some good improvements and I and myabe others would be glad to see them in a roadmap.
An maybe some topics wouldn’t be written because users find their feauture request in the roadmap.
What are you thinking?
I think this is good idea and I almost made this very same suggestion yesterday, but then held off as I started to suggest something like Github, but since this is *not* an open source product, the whole element of downloading beta versions, etc., isn’t appropriate.
Still some kind of “developer blog” or forum based on the github/bugtrac-tracwiki (http://trac.edgewall.org/) and similar sites, might be useful containing:
1) current roadmap: to do, in progress, benchmark goals [locked]
e.g.,
3.4 : fix to blah blah, fix to bug track #33, new feature
3.5 : magic bunnies
2) known bugs in “current” version [locked]
3) feature requests – and delete dupes [unlocked]
4) custom code elements (if built for one person put that code someplace if not needed for core) [locked]
where [locked] means only admin can post (the 2 Radu’s and Marius, etc)
This would likely save a lot of repetitive and unrelated to support elements in the “support” forum. Like, oh the request for 1/2 stars. Not really necessary but some people “want” that, even though NOT part of the advertised product.

hi,
we do take into consideration what our user said, see Mega Menu or More Article Box implementation, and we have disused this idea, but see, every user will post his need , witch will end up in a lot of ideas, some good, some not such good.
this is still open for discussions.
Thanks for you message.
Radu A.
For sure there are a lot of great ideas coming from the community. But often they are repeated because nobody know exactly if there ideas will be implement in a future update.
I made this suggestion for galleries in Oktober 2013:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/image-gallery-in-content/
I made this suggestions for via/source in November 2013:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-fields-source-via/
Don’t remember the topic for this: make a “preview icon” not only for gallery but for video, cite, link etc. too.
You said, you will have a look an will make the neccessary implementations, but for now, nothing happened. Please don’t missunderstand this.
I love the template and the support is really great! π
But some community ideas seams to be lost in the flood of topics and I don’t know if these suggestions will be implemented in the future or not…

Hi,
We have all the stuff 99% π on a github list https://github.com/opradu/newspaper/issues?milestone=none&page=1&state=open
@mbasche probably your request are there, but as you can see on that list was fulfilled by kind of stuff, one people request, small bugs, etc and effectively we are working full time and the list is more and more bigger. We analyze that list periodically and take from there items that we consider it should be done.
We want to make this much better of course, but we are effectively blocked. Also we want a new site for the support but of course we don’t have time to improve that π
Thanks all for supporting us
