Add price and buy button from woocommerce to block

Hey

I am trying to set up a woocommerce-based shop using Newspaper as theme. Now, the woocommerce elements in pagebuilder leaves a lot to be desired, so I wanted to use blocks to display products on shop page.

Any suggestions as to how I can add the price tag and buy button to block 15 output?

Also, as a bonus question, how about sorting by popularity, based on sales?

Hi

Theme’s blocks weren’t designed to display the price tag and buy buttons. You will need lots of customizations in theme files to achieve that functionality. Instead you can use Products block from Visual Composer which have a similar layout with block 15 from the theme, also have the price tag and buy buttons integrated: http://screencast.com/t/j7J4gsuUWvlhttp://screencast.com/t/gLGTgKgVpg8j
If you need a different functionalities which involve other customizations and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

Thanks!

Unfortunately that brings us back to the sad lack of customization options, like even making a heading, on those blocks 🙁

Hi,

The theme was designed to support the woocommerce plugin,as we created some woocommerce templates to help our users and also we customize it a little using css code, but we did not alter the code for woocommerce elements. Also the tagdiv blocks were not designed for woocommerce products, they works with default posts types and you will need custom modifications for this and it is not an easy task, sorry!
You can try this solution and use custom field for posts(not products) and you will be able to display the price on modules/blocks – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/block-modificationsadditions-custom-field/
Doing this change requires some php/html/css experience, so I suggest to get someone to help you with this.

Thanks!
