How to set the front page

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to set the front pages? At the moment, it is only showing the usual wordpress way, but I wanna show category page as the homepage, is that possible?

Unfortunately you cannot set a category page as a homepage, but you can replicate one in visual composer.

Thanks for your help Bogdan, just one more thing, is that possible to set the number of words that display?

I want to make it more tidy, as now it display the whole article, just would like to have an excerpt

Hello,

You can set excerpts in letters or words. A i see it, you have a ‘single big word'(no spacing) in your excerpt so the letters version will be your best bet:
