The duplicate Title and Description issue

Hi, I am checking your theme in Screaming Frog Seo Spider software and here is the result I got

You can check that the title and description of the pages and paginations causing duplicate content issue. After sometime this duplicate issue will also be show in Google webmaster tool >> Search Appearance >> HTML Improvements

I also check my website too with Yoast SEO plugin but result is same. Someone please help me out how to solve this issue.

First of all thank you again for letting us know about this and getting in touch with us!
The duplicates of which your are notified by your testing software refers to the pull-down filter which is present on category pages: http://screencast.com/t/IvwEEY3G You can remove that filter by commenting it from category’s template file, like this: http://screencast.com/t/DPeD93kn5W then check this again. We also have this on our todo list so we’ll try to find a way to improve this feature in the near future and fix this.

I truly hope you get rid of this in the next update. It’s a terrible feature IMHO. Or at least put in dashboard for on/off. I can’t help but think Google will punish us for this.. Why risk it… Plus it’s unsightly….Please be so kind as to dump it.

Also does the above fix, rid it everywhere? Every nook and cranny?

Hi,

We will try to fix it as soon as possible. The above solution to comment the category filter option should remove these duplication from category template – http://screencast.com/t/DPeD93kn5W as they come from that filter.
