Hi,
Just a moment ago my post editor changed and looks odd.
There is a vertical line dividing my main article
Here is what it looks like on my editor http://www.screencast.com/t/euuPvvxiq
It is fine to publish and looks good.
But, what bothers me is every time I try to justify or using format>text padding
the text crossed “the dividing line”.
Then it starts to look bad on published page
The texts cross sidebar margin then part of them hide behind the sidebar
Can anyone help?
Hello Syambarkah,
I’ve checked your screenshot and I saw what do you mean. This vertical line, practically are enable only on back- end and it is useful to see the layout of your site. This line appear when you have activated Sidebar position and when this is disabled the line do not appears, like this:

Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
Hi Catalin,
Thanks Catalin, it’s must be tiring to answer all questions you got.
To begin with here’s what my page looks like on my older post
http://www.screencast.com/t/DKvteoi0T
I’ve been working with that layout for some time (without having a dividing line on my post editor).
I cannot change to a single column (as far as I know considering my layout)
But, suddenly a dividing line appeared.
Now, If I check that page on my editor
it looks like this
http://www.screencast.com/t/kyBPztRt
My text crosses line but still looks good when published
Honestly I don’t have a single clue how to solve this problem.
What do I know is the moment the line starts appearing is when my firefox asking for java update (not sure it it’s related)
At the moment, I’m fine and getting used to it.
Just need more time to write and edit new post
because the body to write text having different wide compared to website
(words per line on editor is lower than website)
here’s what it looks like if I try adding new post

I don’t look for quick answer, but I hope this thing will be a good feedback for improvement

They added this option quite a few versions back, and I got used to it. It only appears on the visual editor, not the text editor, so you can still do long form writing and editing there of code without it.
There is a hack to remove it, posted here quite a bit, but it would be *nice* to have this as an on/off toggle option in future version for the admin panel. On by default, with option to disable without hacking the core code.
(adding to the suggestion box on this one) 🙂
Hi Chris,
Thanks Chris, I think I’ll dig deeper for old posts.
Do you have some suggestions what keywords should I put onto the search box?
I need to remove it as it slows down my system
