I updated to the latest version of wordpress 4.4 this morning and after that I noticed that the category pagination is not working anymore. It keeps on loading page 1 for page 2 ..3 .. 4 and so on
I tried all 3 pagination styles .. normal , infinite and the other one and the result is the same.
I am not really sure if this stopped working after wordpress update but this is the only change I have made to my site recently.
A quick response / fix would be appreciated.

I noticed that someone else posted about the same issue.
Just so that you know, I am not using any cache plugin on my site. And everything else seems to be working OK.

I notice the same problem! I wasn’t sure whether the issue has been there for long but looks like it’s because of WordPress 4.4

I’ve tested on my side with the ultimate version of WordPress and the category pagination seems to work perfectly. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. After these changes, if your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide your log-in information so we can take a look at your page setup. Please also provide a link to this topic so we know who you are.

disabling plugins etc was a total waste of time.
