This is the strangest thing. WordPress has stopped working on my laptop, although it does work in two other laptops that we own. The problem occurs not just on my website, but in a local installation that I have on my laptop. Basically with my laptop I cannot publish material on my website. I can’t make a WordPress post, add images, or click most of the platform’s buttons. It happens with both of the browsers I use, Firefox and Chrome. All Visual Editor buttons are missing, and the ability to switch from Visual to HTML is not working. I can’t Quick Edit any of the postings or comments – I can’t even click Screen Options or Help. Even worse, all the buttons in the theme panel are not clickable any more.
I upgraded to WordPress 4.4 from my local installation but the problem still is there. I also disabled all plugins, but it didn’t work either. I run Newspaper 6.5.1 and WordPress 4.3.1
What can I do? Can I reinstall some JavaScript that may not be working on my machine?

If you say that it runs on other laptops and just the one does not work, then i think it’s more than obvious what the problem is. Unfortunately we cannot offer support for other issues that are not theme related. You can search for solution online to see what can be the cause for this problem. You can try the wordpress forums to see if there are any known problems similar to yours.
