App native WordPress

I wanted a board, of which service or plugin to use to create a native app with my site your wordpress thema Newsmag.

Of course that does not conflict with your plugin.

Likely hire a programmer to build an “app” from your website. Many simple apps are basically shells with logo and pull in the content via RSS. Not too complicated.

No recommendation, however we’re looking to do the same thing … so also interested if anybody has already done this on the cheap 🙂

I need to know what wordpress plugin for native apps work well with your thema and plugins.

Likely need to try them out to see what works for you.

I have not seen anybody post here anything about using an app plugin yet over the past 2 years. So, you would be breaking new ground.

Then gently dear Chris, you answer these questions to the staff of Newsmag.

They will probably tell you the same thing; just saving you some time since they won’t be back in until Monday.

We didn’t do any test with the indicated plugins and I am not aware of theirs functionality. I can’t say how they will work with the theme due the fact they weren’t been tested, but as Chris suggested you can try them and use the one which fits you best.

but the problem that they are all paid services, with contracts for a year.

So you can not try them all.

You should experiment with some of the services, to be able to help us customers.

At this point likely good to pick a service you think works for what you need, then go read reviews of that service.

This is also the point we’re at here. We want to add an app sometime early next year, but have not chosen one or gotten very far on looking either.

Note these apps are not “theme” specific — they would work with any WordPress site as they repackage content, so it’s not practical for a theme developer to spend the time/money on testing all possible plugins/services.

Sorry nobody here had help on this. We’re all in same boat as you 🙂
