On the top of my page I get the code UA-71280683-1

I tried allot of settings to change it, but I can’t find the solution. When I instal a demo theme the code disappears.

Can someone tell me what this problem is ?

Hello,
We have no reports of this issue and we cannot say for sure where it comes from.
Did you by any chance make any modification to the code? If so please remove them and check again.
If not then please provide a link to your website so we can take a look and maybe see why it appears.
Thank you!

Might be from pasting in something to your ad unit boxes incorrectly.

Chris,

Thank you for your respond. I do not have ads on my page at the moment. I did have an empty sidebar Ad unit. I removed this ad. but this doesnt change anything

Hm. It “looks” like a tracking code; like you’d see in Google analytics, Google ad, affiliate program, or simliar.

When you look at your page source you can see it looks like it’s part of some script placed in your header, but missing part of the code …

UA-71280683-1<noscript>

So, likely want to double check your theme panels for the custom CSS, custom Javascript, check the ad panel, and turn OFF any plugins which write anything to the header. Double check your YOAST SEO settings you didn’t put some code in there incorrectly as well.

UA = often short for user accountm, user analytics, etc.

Chris,

Thank you very much! It was a very Noob mistake. I pasted the google analytics ID instead of the analytics code.

Thank you for the support!
