Hi team,

We uploaded all bookmarklet’s images, but our client (and we) can’t see or find one on iPad or iPhone. Where is it located? Can you send a screenshot of a bookmarklet for a client’s website – http://sport-tek.ru/?

Thanks for your help!

Igor

Hello,

If you are referring to the press this bookmarklet, you can follow this link to see how you can use it on an ipad or iphone. http://kawanet.blogspot.ro/2010/08/bookmarklet-viewer-bookmarklet-for.html
If this is not what you mean, please provide more details so we can better understand your request.

Thank you!

Hi Bogdan,

Sorry I didn’t understand your advice.

The question is how visitors will know that a website have a bookmarklet which they will save to a screen, if they don’t see anything or got any messages about one?

Regards,
Igor

Anybody can bookmark a website/page by using the favorites/bookmark function in their iOS web browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome, etc.). You don’t need any special link.button, etc. to do that.

If you’re talking about a custom “app” — you need to build one, then have it in the App Store, then put the code in your header file to sense/inform iOS visitors you have an app.

If you’re talking about a pre-composed Apple icon, you simply put those in the root of your main public web root, and Apple devices look there for it.

If you’re talking about “web clips” — see this:
