Hi, i have been facing an issue that the online tools that scans H tags are unable to scan the H1, H2, H5 and H6 tags. i have used these tags at the time of publishing the articles but i couldnt find any at the time of scanning. i have used http://www.seoreviewtools.com/html-headings-checker/ and many others as well. i have used H1, H2, H5 and H6 in many posts, i even checked the source code, style.css file as well and everything seems fine there. pls have a look at the report given below

Well — you might LOOK at your page source. If you have h1, h2, h3, h4 tags in your page source, they are obviously actually there and the scanner you’re using is a P.O.S. (crap). 😉
All post pages will have h1 tag for title, and h3 tags in the sidebar, etc. and if you use h2 tags for sub-heads, then they are there.
Now, if you have major JS or HTML errors … this might show up in doing a check in the console (F12 in most browsers), then it might “break” the HTML and thus scanner you’re using would not be able to parse content properly. Example if you did a opening tag somewhere but messed up closing tag — this would cause an error on page and in some cases break all the scanners.
Hope that helps vs just being an annoying comment 🙂
