I’m using the default sidebar for both homepage and posts but eventually I will add extra items to the sidebar in the posts. Is it possible to create a new sidebar with the similar content of the default sidebar? I mean, without me having to add the current elements again manually.

No, if you create a custom sidebar you will have to add the widgets manually.
