It is possible to fix a solution so that I can use PHP7?

Unfortunately we have not tested the old version of our theme with newspaper 7 so we cannot say for sure if you can use it or not. In the latest version of php, some functions used in newspaper 4 will probably not work anymore as they will be deprecated and some of them removed altogether. The solution for this would be to adapt the theme code to PHP 7 and it will be no easy task to accomplish. You can test it out if you want but we cannot guarantee it’s functionality.

I do not know what you mean with the update. The theme is currently at version 6.6.3 and you still have version 4.6.3. We release updates on a regular basis. We will update our theme to be compatible with php 7 but you will need to update your theme in order to use php 7 when the time comes.

I dont call that an update. It will take very much time for me to adapt my site to the new version of the theme đ

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the update to version 6 but eventually you will need to update your theme to the latest version as more and more features will not work anymore due to updates to wp or php or plugins so version 4 is getting deprecated slowly but surely. Please allow some time and update your theme. Do it on a testing site (sub-domain) and see how bad the damage will be…It will not be as drastic as you may think. We tried our best to maintain compatibility between version 4 and version 6. You will only need to remove a few widgets from the side-bar, and recreate a few elements in visual composer.
