Hi I have recently updated the theme to version 2.3.5 and visual composer to 4.9 that was included with the updated theme. However when I edit post with visual composer elements, the elements do not load up with any visual composer settings, i.e the ‘general’ tab is empty. for some elements like images, I can switch the tab from ‘general’ to ‘design options’ and will trigger the general section to show up. but it won’t work for all elements and won’t work for text blocks.

it’s fixed now, after I set all visual composer elements to enabled in administrator role and re save the settings. all elements show up.
