Hello
we have had a problem in these days. For the 1st time we have choosen the post type “video” for a post. The Big-Grid block shown a triangle on the thumbnail to inform it’s a video post. ok.
The Desktop version worked as usual, the mobile version instead (tried on iPhones and Samsung Galaxy) was not showing any picture (thumbs and inside articles).
Can you please verify?
Fabio
Hi
I found a compatibility issue with the plugin “WP Retina 2x”, which I used to serve thumbnails on retina display since they require higher resolution images.
Do you know how can I workaround this issue? Is there a compatible plugin / technique to have retina diplays to show nice looking thumbnails?
thanks
Fabio
Hi
Unfortunately the plugin is not tested to work with the theme and we cannot guarantee it will work 100%. Try to deactivate all plugins, leave just VC and WP Retina 2x, clear the cache and test again. If the problem persit please provide your site url so I can inspect it closer, maybe I can help you with it.
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed that on mobile version appear some js errors in browsers console: http://screencast.com/t/xcsqbBd1f5kf This errors seams to be related with theme’s js. Try to update that theme at the latest version available on themeforest: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ clear all caches and test again.
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve checked your site on mobile devices and works fine now: http://screencast.com/t/ruNr7FPQxoXy If you still have this issue try to clear the mobile device cache memory and test again. Also provide more details and a screen pointing the issue so i can duplicate it on my side and get back to you with a more accurate answer.
Thanks!
Hi again. You have checked the production site, which works fine since I have no post video there.
The original problem has been reproduced in the development site. Same URL but starts with “dev”: devDOTcalcioefinanzaDOTcom.
There you can find the issue once again, even after the theme upgrade, the wp cache clean, the browser cache clean.
Thanks for your attention
Regards
Fabio
Hi
Sorry for that!
I’ve checked your site and the errors from browser console are still there: http://screencast.com/t/96BthC4Crt Try to deactivate the Lazy load animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/ssNedMhYn and test again. If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
