Hi Team
I found out that my post view page is a little bit not normal. Because in this post (http://www.pintarmandarin.com/merk-motor-dalam-bahasa-mandarin/), the facebook like already 23 but the post view only 7. Is it normal? Could you help me check?

And one more do you know how to fix the previous and next post, because it seems the previous and next post taken from the date post created. Not from the category.
For example i create 3 posts in different category, but in the second post i see the previous and the next are those two which i just created..not from the same category.
Thankyou
Regards
Adi
<PREV NEXT>
are based on when the post created and NOT by topic/category or tag.
This is a normal WordPress feature.
I think if you want to do a prev/next by current “main” category (or first alpha category more typical), you might need a plugin or custom code.
Sorry i dont … I’m on another forum right now begging for somebody to give me the hook for stupid Yoast SEO breadcrumbs for when a WP is in sub directory of a larger site, to add the home > subdir > cat > post properly … (sigh)…
TagDiv may have some help. But for custom coding you might have to do the google quest of doom … 🙂
Post views impacted by caching, connection to FB, or whatever you’re using (jetpack, native, plugin…). No idea.
Hi,
Thanks Chris!
Just please note that the like counter increments also the likes you get on facebook page or if your article was shared on fb it will get also those likes.. so the post views counter may be different than likes number.
Thanks!
Dear Chris
Thx ..sorry i thought you are one of tagdiv team 🙂
Dear Alin
Does w3 total cache and yoast seo can affect this post view?
Because i am not a programmer, and i try to install them to optimize my website.
But i feel that the post view counter is different recently.
Thankyou
Hi,
If you are using a caching plugin please enable ajax view count – http://screencast.com/t/Q1OrCSAkxwnf Also you can install W3TC it should work with the theme, but we recommend Wp Super Cache. Please be aware about installing cache plugins, as it is not just a simple task to delete it properly and if you don’t make this properly it could cause issue(so install only one cache plugin and use it). Yoast Seo should not affect the view counter. You can check if the view counter works properly by checking the custom fields from one of your posts and refresh it for few time and see if it increments – http://screencast.com/t/nhiHKiWu7J
Thanks!
